This evening we had a wonderful family from Brookfield Illinois at our portrait studio for their family portraits. We got to test out our brand new vintage studio backdrops with this young family of three. Tony, Matt and Denise all posed elegantly, in standard family portraiture, as well as with silly faces.

 

The boys both support rival baseball teams, the elder son rooting for the Chicago White Sox, while the younger rooting for the Chicago Cubs. It made an excellent photograph to have both boys together on one simple white backdrop. We even did a few “slugger” photos of the boys in play fight. Finally, mom came into the last set of frames and held the boys by their collars while both struggled to escape. Great fun was had by all! I always know it was a successful portrait session when everyone is still smiling and chatting when they leave our portrait studio!

 

See you boys next year at the same time (when Tony comes back from college for the summer)!
