This weekend Scott and Emily came to visit our studio for their family portraits, actually their father daughter portraits. Emily was a pleasure to work with (and Scott was well behaved also!)... she knew all about posing and smiling and had more energy than either of us combined. Simple a wonderful little girl! When I said "smile" she was lit up from cheek to cheek within seconds. And when we did the "emotions" pose, she got every one of them perfect (gosh sometimes my grown up models can't even do that!). Emily for 5 stars for her oscar performance! Scott also requested that I take a few of his professional portraits for his company org change and other professional types of documents. I combined those into our session while Emily changed outfits.

During our session I thought to myself "Self, how can I best express this family's creative and fun side?" and then it came to me. I know about the "Daddy's Little Girl" relationship between a father and his only daughter. Sorry to all your ladies who may take offense, I have just met a few of these ladies in my life. Thus I thought it would be adorable to super impose Scott on Emily's palm... suggesting she has him in the palm of her hand (for those who don't readily get the metaphor). They bouth got a big laugh out of it. Scott even told me that he laughed out loud (LOL'd) at work today when I sent him the thumbnails. Well, Agnes gets 5 stars for her award winning photoshop editing techniques and creativity!
