This afternoon I met up with Valaree, a local model in McHenry County Illinois. She is working on developing her professional modeling portfolio. We visited an abandoned building in Mundelein, on route 45. It used to be a nursery for plants, but now is devoid of people. It was actually a great location for a Senoir Portrait. We often have models come into the studio for their portraits, headshots, and professional quality photography. Renee came from Indiana and spent the afternoon with me. We used various lighting techinques, background, and poses. Overall we were both tired after our whirlwind 4 hour session. Though tired, she was always upbeat and personable. Such a wonderful spirit. And her husband a trooper for helping me adjust the backdrops and hold my light reflector. Renee was such a sport, and went along with every kookie pose and idea (see the apple arrow) that popped into my quirky mind. At Plum Tree Studio our lead photographer (owner) doesn't chinse out on creativity... she is all about idea's and having fun... ohh yeah... and taking pictures is awesome too!
