This afternoon was lovely wedding at the Good Sheppard Church in Bartlett, Illinois. Before the ceremony, the nervous bride hid in the bridal room, anticipating her grooms presence. The couple was of Filipino decent, so retained many of their cultural wedding customs including the primary sponsors/witnesses and the godparents as part of the ceremony, unity candles, the rope cord being tied around in an eight formation, monetary gifts of thirteen coins, and the veil covering both partners.
