Portrait Photos in Libertyville Illinois with the Easter Bunny Saturday March 14

By admin - Posted on 14 March 2009

Portrait Photos in Libertyville Illinois with the Easter Bunny were so much fun for everyone! On March 14th and March 15th, 2009 Plum Tree Studio lead photographer and owner partnered with Denise from “Who’s Your Puppy” for their “Pet Portraits with the Easter Bunny” event. We were very happy to see a many returning puppy pals from the December Event “Pet Portraits with Santa Claus”. Each customer will receive a complimentary (that means free) 5x7 print and frame of their companion animal (and children’s pictures too!)

We had over 30 four legged visitors, and nearly 70 two legged visitors. That is a whole lot of legs walking around (and lot’s of happy barks too!) Many of the guests stayed for a grooming or nail trimming (I already had mine done so I was doing well) and many other shoppers perused the store for shopping bargains. Many of the winter items such as coats and fleece sweaters are currently 50% off.

So go on in and visit Who’s Your Puppy and bring your human companion too! The staff over at Who’s Your Puppy is amazingly helpful (and this I say as a fellow customer as well as their photography of choice for their events). I speak from the heart and wallet here. After the day events I looked through their vast selection of natural and healthy dog foods. Their employees were quick to assist and were very knowledgeable about the products. They were able to recommend the best ones for our 10 year old senior dog (which I think she is faking the entire retirement thing since she can still catch Frisbees 2 feet off the ground!). In the end I was offered a few selections of samples to take home to my finicky eater. Such exemplary customer service is much appreciated by this puppy parent.

Finally, below are some of the images from day 1. Click on any image to be redirected to the gallery. You can view, crop, and purchase any image from 4x6 to up to nearly life-size. Enjoy!

Your complimentary 5x7 will be available for pick in April. You will receive an email once the photograph is ready and framed!!!  Check back here for additional details!

Family Portrait Through The Snow Storm

By admin - Posted on 09 January 2009

Over the past few days the snow has fallen down upon Illinois. With inches inches upon inches covering the land in white powder as far as the eye could see. Roads were backed up. Accidents all along the highways. Yet, this afternoon our photographers braved the storm in the spirit of photography. "Stop being so melodramatic?" Ohh just let me have my moment! The storm raged on, through the night and into the morning. But the family portrait must go on!

That being said, our photographer finally arrived to the home of a family in Vernon Hills Illinois. Our photographer came on site with equipment, including lighting set up and professional backdrops. Phil, Laura, Sam, and Justin all helped with moving around furniture and setting up the backdrop. With muscle all around the set up and take down time went from 45 minutes for the photographer to mearly 20 minutes for everyone.

Thanks everyone! Look forward to seeing you again at your next family portrait -- only this time with brother number 3 home from college. Now you can show him was he was missing!!!

Below are a few images from the session.
