Portrait Kristen Polizzi
Last weekend I photographed with Kristen Poilzzi and true to her own description, she was a bubbly, sincere and kind person, very open to new idea's and new poses. Kristen was very comfortable with her 5'10" physique and "worked it" in the photos, as we say in the biz. You can tell from the images below that she could replicate emotions as needed and gave a great deal of variety in poses and motions. Fab! Thanks girl!

She loves me then she loves me not
She loves me, she loves me not... sometimes I just don't know who to trust. And sometimes I can't remember how I got here. But those eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes. I was pulled in. Into the fire. Into the flame. I walked in like a fool and I heard the voices. I didn't turn back. Who would have turned back when the blue flames roared higher into the night. They called to me and pleased for my entry. I gave in. I stepped into the flame. And yet... she loves me... she loves me not...

Maternity Portraits for Beth and Al
This evening I had Beth and Alberto over at the studio for a maternity session. Beth is now 6 months pregnant with twin girls! She was simply glowing with maternal happiness. Together, they were a very comfortable and stress free couple, which made my job way more fun. They comfortable with their poses and comfortable with me. When I said close your eyes and relax, their bodies relaxed and made for an awesome photo. In between somber and relaxed moment I even got them to laugh out loud (LOL), which made for an even more honest and natural photo. Looking forward to having them back in the studio for “after” photos with their two new angels.

Baby Matthew
Happy 1 year birthday Matthew! This morning I went to the home of Erin, Chuck, & baby Matthew. Already mr matthew was engrossed in books and "reading". At only one year of age, he was very perceptive to everything around him and his eyes displayed wonder and curiosity. With a little help from Elmo and his singing mommy, we got this handsome young man to strike his cute whimsical smile. Roxie
Meet Roxie! She is a 1.5 year old boxer lab mix with a wonderfully inquisitive nature. From the moment she stepped into the studio she was off with nose to sniff every corner and every scent. A little skiddish at first, normal for a pound puppy, she quickly warmed up to a friendly face. We played for a bit on the floor until she got comfortable with me and my camera. The lights didn't bother her at all, as long as there were treats nearby. Nom nom nom she said as she nibbled on a scooby snack. Her human mommy picked her from the dog shelter and you could feel the love Roxie gave back! For a puppy, she was amazingly well behaved. Nothing was broken, knocked over, yellowed or torn. She listened when she got a command, even if a little delayed. Her heart was warm and loving and she was a wonderful little girl to have in the studio. Look forward to having the family back in soon for a family portrait.

The Long Voyage
Anyone can appreciate the sentiment in this photo, which is appropriately titled "Long Voyage". The image represents childhood moving into womanhood; crossing the path from one world and into another. The experience of youth and innocence is short lived and blurred, and the wedding day is a small depiction of the speed of life and memories. Blink once and you may miss both, blink twice and you've seen nothing.
At Plum Tree Studio Wedding Photography, you are our inspiration. It is photos and opportunities such as these which continue to light out lives as much as our equipment. Working with each client inspires our photographers to try different angles, different poses, different lighting, and a different perspective.
Each wedding as unique as thumbprint. The DNA of every wedding is the same – the white dress, the tuxes, the flowers, the dj’s, the flower girl and ring bearer, and the wedding cake. But each couple brings to the ceremony their own proclamation of love and devotion. Each reception party bring to it a unique sense of life and energy. Every “first dance” is the beginning of a new life. This is what inspires us as wedding photographers.
You inspire us!

Wedding Laura and Peter November 2008
Below are some of my favorite images from the wedding of Laura and Peter. Such a warm and fun couple; the main thing I noticed about them is that they were both always smiling and laughing. Made the day even more amazing for everyone!
More images will be posted in a few weeks so please check back again. The reception was at the Shores of Turtle Creek in Illinois, November 1 2008.
Congratulations to Laura and Peter Jedrzejewski!

Engagement Portrait Erin and Brian
This morning we met with newly engaged couple, Erin and Brian, at Butler Park in Libertyville, Illinois. As this is the fall season, we were blessed with every color imaginable. There were trees turning yellow, orange, red, and green still basking in the afternoon sun. We did get some perfect weather today, especially for a Midwest fall!

Wedding Brooklynn and Andrew
This Sunday was the wedding of Andrew and Brooklynn, two very genuine and loving people. The wedding was at St. Mary's Church in Mundelein and the reception at Lake Geneva Wisconsin. The church was very modern, which allowed for fabulous daytime lighting without any flash. All of the cermony images were with natural night. The reception background was simply radient and the guests had a great view of the formal portraits while we worked. Great!
CONGRATS Andy and Brook!
